CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
It's Texas Public Schools Week, and to mark the occasion, various schools around the state have been holding special celebrations.
On Thursday, one local southside school had a fun lesson on different cultures.
High school students at the School of Science and Technology, which is off of Saratoga, put on their second annual International Fair. The high schoolers researched a country and then put together a presentation to show the younger students at the school.
Teachers said that, by studying different cultures and countries, the hope is that the students will dream bigger and look at the world from a different perspective.
