Police arrest three people after a shootout happens right in front of a police officer. Police arrested 19-year old Omero Hernandez, 19-year old Mark Mondragon and 18-year old Joe Reyes. It happened just before 4:30 this morning in the 4000 block of Gabriel Street. An officer in the area was responding to a "shots fired" call and when he arrived on the scene, he noticed three cars stopped in the middle of the street, blocking the road way. The officer called for back-up that is when the shoot-out began. The cars took off. Police were able to stop two of the three vehicles and inside found two semi-automatic guns. No one was injured in the incident. All three suspects face aggravated assault charges.
