Students at John Paul II High School Dance Away at Special Heart - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

It was an early prom held Sunday for students at John Paul II High School.

Today was the 2nd Annual Special hearts Prom.

It's a chance for those with disabilities, who normally couldn't take part in a dance, to experience what it's like.

The kids got to dress up, have fun, and there was even a crowing of a king and queen.

"It's given by our Voices at Care Organization helps those in need," said Desiree Escobedo. "This is my date, Ralph."

A mass and lunch were also provided before the dance.
