Suspect in Fatal Drive-By Shooting Turns Self In - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

The suspect wanted in a fatal drive-by shooting that took place Sunday in Falfurrias turned himself in to authorities on Monday.

Juan Cervantes, 22, turned himself in on Monday morning. He has been charged with the murder of 26-year old Omar Rivas.

Rivas was shot in the neck Sunday when, according to witnesses, a maroon truck pulled up alongside his vehicle and opened fire. HALO Flight was called to the scene to take Rivas to the hospital, but he did not survive.
