Black smoke billowed from the Sistine Chapel for the second time since the conclave started just over an hour ago.     

That means a new pope has not yet been elected.

As the cardinals go into the first full day of the conclave, all eyes are watching the special chimney stack in Vatican City.

The process of selecting a pope can be challenging.
