Police Investigate Third Pharmacy Robbery in Three Weeks

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The CVS Pharmacy in Six Points was robbed Wednesday, making it the third armed robbery of a local pharmacy in the past three weeks.

Kiii News Reporter Brian Burns went Live from the Six Points area with the details.

Just after 1:30 p.m., a man walked into the CVS and quietly threatened a clerk with a knife. A customer who was inside the pharmacy at the time said she did not even realize a robbery had happened.

"We got a general description of him," said Lt. Brian Hill of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "White male, maybe Hispanic male, wearing a blue and white striped shirt, white tennis shoes. Wearing a white hat. He did produce a knife. That's really all the information we have on him right now."

Even though he wasn't wearing red shoes like the suspect in the other robberies, police said there are many similarities.

Police are currently looking at surveillance video, and hope to release a picture of the suspect shortly.
