Authorities Seek Semi Truck Involved in Alice Hit and Run

ALICE (Kiii News) -

Department of Public Safety investigators need your help to track down a tractor-trailer involved in a hit and run accident in Jim Wells County off Highway 44 Tuesday morning.

Investigators said the driver of the truck did not stop to render aid after running over a man who was riding his bicycle. The incident was captured by surveillance cameras at Texas Best, a store that the truck was leaving before hitting the bicyclist.

The semi-truck was pulling a white vacuum tanker at the time.
