Filomeno & Company, a proactive CPA and business advisory firm, is pleased to welcome the return of William T. Laramee of South Windsor to its dynamic team. Mr. Laramee previously worked for the company from 1976 to 1984 and was a partner at the time of his departure.
As Tax Department Leader, Laramee rejoins Filomeno & Company with an extensive background in financial management and analysis ranging from public accounting to manufacturing financial management.
Most recently, Laramee served as Controller at Timken Aerospace Transmissions LLC (formerly The Purdy Corporation), a global industrial technology leader. While CFO of The Purdy Corporation, Laramee was responsible for all financial operations of the firm, reporting directly to the president of the company. Laramee significantly contributed to leading the company’s future growth, development and vision and was responsible of all aspects of the company’s sale. At Timken Aerospace Transmissions, Laramee was responsible for post-acquisition integration into Timken financial systems and reporting hierarchy, development of annual goals, management of successful Sox audits and government compliance, and negotiation of major contracts.
Laramee holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
