CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A nine-month old baby was confirmed dead after being rushed to Driscoll Children's Hospital Sunday morning. Now, Corpus Christi detectives are looking into what happened.

Medics were called out to the 3100 block of Barness Drive at the Lexington Square Apartments Sunday morning. They had received reports that the infant may have rolled under his parents while sleeping in their bed.

The baby was then rushed to the hospital, where officers say the infant died.

A detective said that it appears to have been an accident, and no arrests have been made.
