Pre-Trial Hearing For Hasan / No Change of Venue - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

(KCEN) -- In today's pretrial hearing Judge Tara Osborn ruled no change of venue for the Hasan trial which begins July 1st.

Both sides, the prosecution and defense are discussing to what extent the expert witness, Evan Kohlmann, can testify.

The defense has previously challenged Kohlmann's testimony.

The trial has been scheduled to start on July 1, 2013.

Hasan is accused of opening fire on Fort Hood in November 2009.

Thirteen people were killed and 32 others wounded in the incident.
