If you are looking for a job, the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority has a couple positions available.
The RTA held a job fair on Tuesday, and they are still taking applications throughout the week. They are looking to fill 15-20 openings for bus drivers.
If you have never driven a bus before, that's okay. The RTA said that, if you have great customer service skills and a Class C driver's license, they can train you so you can pass your commercial driver's license test.
"You can start off the program with a six-week training with a permit, but by the time you end the training, you have to have your CDL license," Director of Transportation Robert Saldana said.
This is all part of a recent grant the RTA was given to add more manpower.
