Car Plows into Nail Salon

Posted: Updated:

A nail salon owner has a big mess to clean up after a 79 year old woman accidentally drives through her business. It happened at Leslie's Nail Salon off of Airline and Holly at about 9:20 Sunday morning. The elderly woman was going to the Baptist church in the shopping center. Police say the woman thought she pushed the break pedal, instead she floored it. She ran her car all the way through the nail shop. Victor Casares with CCPD said, "I'm sure it's salvageable but it's extensive damage. I mean from the ceiling to the floor, everything is damaged."

The woman was transported to the hospital with bumps and bruises. Police have requested to give the woman a drivers license test because of this incident. Luckily no one was inside the nail shop when this happened.
