Posted: Updated:

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - It was mixed results for the Flour Bluff Hornets' soccer programs Monday as the Lady Hornets beat Victoria West, and advanced out of the bi-district round, but the boys were eliminated by the same Warriors.

The Flour Bluff girls got two goals in each half, including two from Caleigh Tucker to eliminate the Lady Warriors 4-1. The Lady Hornets are trying to capitalize on an undefeated run in District 60-4A with a deep playoff run.

Meanwhile the Bluff boys couldn't equal their Lady Hornets' counterparts in falling to Victoria West 3-1. The Warriors got out to a 2-0 first half lead before Marco Narvaez put the Hornets' on the board with a late goal before the break. However, the Hornets couldn't get the equalizer in the second half and Victoria West's Ernesto Perez sealed Flour Bluff's season with a third goal.
