King Boys Soccer Loses Lead, Eliminated From Playoffs

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - The King Mustangs weren't able to protect a two goal lead, and were eliminated from the boys soccer playoffs by San Antonio Jay 3-2 in overtime Saturday at Cabaniss.

King got goals from Sergio Fernandez and Julian Sanchez, but the other Mustangs from San Antonio were able to score two goals in the final 22 minutes to force the two overtime periods. Jay's Uriel Aviles put home the eventual game-winner four minutes into the first overtime to eliminate King.
