It's a South Texas Easter tradition, as popular as egg hunts and family bar-b-q's. We're talking about the annual Easter weekend crowds at Labonte Park, and this year was no different. We spoke with one family which is restarting their family tradition.
Barbara Bueno said, "We've been here years back when our children were smaller but its been like 12-15 years since the last time we came."
Danielle Orta said, "it was a last minute thing, everyone just showed up and out of now where. My sister came from Houston."
Of course lots of folks were out there doing some fishing, and even some egg hunts.
