Fire crews were busy Sunday morning battling a fire at a local car dealership.
Fire Chief Frank Rodriguez said, "We we got on scene and we had some heavy smoke and fire showing from the back area. It appeared to be two cars fully involved."
The blaze broke out just before 11 Sunday morning at a car dealership along SPID near Nile. Its where three cars were damaged.
Officials say the cars were there to be worked on in the shop. Fire crews had to set up on the feeder road of SPID and run hoses from there in order to reach the fire.
It didn't take long for crews to put the fire out. The good news is that it did not spread, and no homes or buildings were damaged. No word on the cause of the blaze.
