Baseball Team Holds Benefit for Hit and Run Survivor
It's the latest show of support for hit and run survivor--17 year old Christian Carrillo.
This time, a benefit was held by a group of nine year olds. The baseball team's head coach, Robert Martinez said,it shows the kids everyone has to work as a team, for this little boy to get healthy. It's all team work." He says the kids saw what happened to Christian and wanted to help. They held a bake sale outside of Shoe Carnival on SPID. They hope the money raised will help Christian's family with medical bills and any other costs his family might encounter. It was just yesterday when his family released video of the young man to show the progress he is making.
