CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Kiii-TV is a proud sponsor of this year's AutoNation Saltwater Round-Up on Saturday, April 27, at Robert's Point Park Pavilion in Port Aransas, benefiting the local American Diabetes Association.

The one-day fishing tournament is designed for anglers of all ages and skill levels. Plus, the tournament gives every angler a chance to win the grand prize without bringing in the most fish.

It's a boat or kayak tournament, so anglers must come and go by boat or kayak. There are two divisions: Family and Team. The family division must consist of immediate family members and their spouses/kids. The team division consists of teams of up to four anglers.

Teams must fish from the same boat. A kayak team consists of two to four anglers fishing within sight of each other. Each team and family may bring in three fish; one redfish, one trout, and one other (flounder, sand trout, black drum, sheepshead). At the weigh-in, the team's three fish will be their total weight and there will be prizes for the top three in each division.

Each team member will receive a raffle ticket per pound of fish that their team brought in good for a special grand prize drawing for $10,000.00 cash.

In addition, there will be a pre-tournament Reception and Rules Review on Friday night before the tournament. Dinner will also be served on Friday at the reception and at Saturday's weigh-in.
