Early Voting for May 11 Uniform Elections Began Monday

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The new Texas Secretary of State wants to send out a reminder that early voting for the May 11 uniform elections began Monday.

Many cities and school districts across the state are holding elections. Here in Nueces County, there are several polling locations where you can cast your ballot.

In Bishop, you can stop by the City Hall from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. In Driscoll, they have a substation set up at the Driscoll Independent School District cafeteria; and Flour Bluff Independent School District voters can stop by the administration building or the Padre Isles Country Club.

There are no statewide propositions on the ballot, and of course, the City of Corpus Christi has moved elections to November.

We headed out to Labonte Park, one of the most popular camp sites on this Easter Sunday to see how families there were enjoying the day! The park located just off I-37 was filled with families camping out. People have been camping out all week just to make sure they got a good spot! The weather was definitely in their favor. It seems no one was safe from the cascarones, as some of the campers organized an attack on our very own kiii camera man, Jay Pena.More >>
