Flour Bluff Woman Given 20-Year Sentence for Murdering Boyfriend

A Flour Bluff woman who was found guilty of fatally shooting her boyfriend was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Taylor was found guilty of murder Thursday at the Nueces County Courthouse. Prosecutors said 55-year old Donna Taylor shot her boyfriend, 54-year old Floyd Scroggin, in his RV in January of 2012.

Taylor was later captured by the Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force.
