Jonathan Acosta Signs With Islanders

Corpus Christi (kiii sports)- Sinton senior Jonathan Acosta signed to play college baseball at Texas A&M- Corpus Christi on Monday.

Acosta, who transferred to Sinton from Taft before his junior year, brought a big bat and developed into a frontline pitcher for the Pirates.

He is expected to get a chance to both hit and pitch for Islander coach Scott Malone.
