Two Detectives Assigned to Investigate Bridal Fraud Case

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

More than two dozen brides have filed complaints with the Corpus Christi Police Department about Justin Lee Olle and his business, Justin Lee Design's. The victims say Justin took their money and ran.

The Police Department has assigned two detectives to investigate. One of the main complaints they hear from those who have filed police reports is, when will they get their money back?

Detective Loraine Mathews, Corpus Christi Police Department, says, "Some of the problems with multiple victims is that they become victims at multiple times and in order for us to link them together we have to have a crime to pass."

That will take time. Detective Mathews has first hand knowledge of this. She worked the ChaCha events fraud case. She says, in general, cases like this take time.

She asks victims to be patient.

"Still have to get info from vendors merchants bank, that requires subpoenas and we give them 30 days to respond and it really responds on information we get from them to go forward with the case," says Detective Mathews.

The owner of Justin Lee Design's has yet to be seen or heard from.

The brides who were promised checks in the mail by Justin say they have received nothing.

Police say they are putting together their case before they talk to him.
