Mumford & Sons plans to play Glastonbury as 'four brothers'

Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane is reportedly gearing up to return to the stage after receiving emergency treatment for a blood clot earlier this month.

The Grammy-winning group is set to perform at the Glastonbury Festival on Sunday, and Mumford keyb0ardist Ben Lovett has said that fans can expect to see Dwane join in.

"All we feel is incredibly grateful and happy that he's going to be OK, and that we're going to get back out on that stage at Glastonbury as four brothers and do what we do," he told the Radio Times, according to Billboard.

Mumford's also rescheduled the U.S. dates it missed to allow for Dwane's recovery, with plans to return to the States as part of a tour this fall.

Called "The Full English," Mumford's upcoming North American trek will also feature Bear's Den and The Vaccines. "The Full English" will kick off in Toronto on August 26 before stretching through eight more stops in the U.S., winding down in Simpsonville, South Carolina, on September 11.

For those who missed out seeing Mumford earlier this month, the band will play New Orleans' Mardi Gras World on September 16; Woodlands, Texas' Cynthia Woods Pavilion on September 17; Dallas, Texas' GEXA Energy Pavilion on September 18; and Bonner Springs, Kansas' Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre on September 20.

"We are pleased to report that our beloved Ted is making a steady recovery from his operation and wearing his newly acquired shaven-headed hairstyle with enviable levels of suave," the British band posted in a statement on its website. "A huge, huge thank you to all for your messages of support; the man himself is rather overwhelmed."
