Film Festival Participants Wrap Up Projects

Posted: Updated:

Participants in the 7-Day Film Festival are breathing a sigh of relief.

Yesterday, was the deadline and all teams turned in their final product for judging. The wrap party was held Wednesday night at House of Rock. All teams had until 8:30 to have their films finished. Filmmakers are given seven days to write, produce and edit a film.

"Time management is absolutely the most hectic thing when you are shooting a movie in just 7 days. That's the most challenging part," said Omar Becerra.

Screenings for the films will take place August 31st at the Harbor Playhouse.
