Law Firm Takes the Case for Numerous Explosion Victims
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Attorney Thomas J. Henry's law firm has taken over numerous cases involving last Friday's Holmes Drive house explosion.
Several homes were damaged in the blast, which was said to have been caused by a natural gas leak. Attorney's say they want to get to the bottom of what caused the leak, and they want to determine who is responsible for displacing more than 30 people from their homes.
"They have to preserve all the gas lines, all the testing on the gas lines, meter testing, and also work with us," Attorney Greg Teeter said. "We're working with the Fire Marshal to be onsite during investigation phase. That will be next week."
One of the victims in the blast, 60-year old Robert Farley, passed away from his injuries on Wednesday. 25-year old Ryan Conner, also injured in the blast, is still in a medically induced coma, and his family said he underwent a CT scan on Thursday.
