Kiii-TV is proud to be a part of the 48th annual Health & Wellness Festival, presented by the Nueces County Medical Society, on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the American Bank Center Exhibit Hall.

Our 3News anchors will be there at the Kiii-TV booth, along with over 105 exhibitor booths.

The Children's Area will focus on youth wellness programs such as nutrition, FREE immunizations, FREE athletic physicals, child safety resources and FREE children's identification cards.

The Community Health in Action areas will offer Family & Friends CPR training by the American Heart Association, and the Coastal Bend Blood Bank will have two blood mobiles in the hall for blood donations.

First Friday will offer breast health information that includes mammogram screening assistance and educational/support resources. There will also be a live "Ask The Doctor: Women's Health" booth staffed by NCMS physicians who will answer questions regarding women's health and wellness.

Additionally, there will be an Active Older Adult Area with a variety of geriatric initiatives, senior health information and FREE testing services. The public will also have the opportunity to receive a variety of FREE screenings/testings and view healthy lifestyle demonstrations.

She was booked and charged with improper relationship between an educator and a student, a felony charge.Ramirez was accused of having a relationship in the spring semester of this year.
