ALICE (Kiii News) -

The 26th annual South Texas Cattlemen's Roundup benefiting Driscoll Children's Hospital was held in Alice on Tuesday.

Each year, local 4-H clubs, Future Farmers of America chapters and area businesses pitch in and donate goods and services for the event, such as homemade baked goods and ranching products. Tuesday's event was held at the Gulf Livestock Market in Alice.

"I was here to sell brownies and strawberry muffins for the auction for Driscoll Children's Hospital," Jennalee Parker said.

"I brought eggs and hot sauce, and two buttermilk pies," said Rachel Gallagher, who was selling food at the event. "My eggs sold for $100, and my buttermilk pies both sold for $130."
