Nine Students to Participate in Sister City Exchange Program
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Nine high school juniors, half of which are from around the world, gathered Tuesday at the Stripes Support Center on Ayers. They will be taking part in the Sister City Exchange Program.
Half of the students have been staying with families here in Corpus Christi. In exchange, each of their families will host one of our students. The students spend two to three weeks in our sister cities.
The Sister City Exchange Program was established internationally in 1956 by President Dwight Eisenhower, and Corpus Christi adopted the program in 1972.
