Two indicted in Beaumont murder


A Jefferson County Grand Jury has formally indicted two men in the killing of a 20-year-old Lumberton man who was dropped off at a Beaumont Emergency Room July 3.

Terry Frasier, 28, and Terry Euglon, 23, have both been charged with one count of murder.

According to 12News file stories, the murder took place on July 3, 2012 in the 5200 block of Wilshire Street in Beaumont's north end.

The day of the murder, Beaumont Police Sgt. Rob Flores told 12News that two men dropped Leffage off at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  He had serious injuries caused by blunt force.  Hospital staff treated Leffage in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit where he died on July 5, 2012.

Police say evidence shows Frasier and Euglon robbed and assaulted Leffage.

Police have not released a motive, nor specified how Leffage was assaulted.
