City of Beeville Employee Retiring After 35 Years on the Job
BEEVILLE (Kiii News) -
Patricia Carrizales, known to friends and coworkers as Pat, has worked at the Beeville City Hall for the past 35 years, but she will retire next week.
Carrizales, who is the Bee County Sheriff's wife, first started working with the City of Beeville in 1978. For the past couple of years, she has held the position of City Utility Clerk, and she says her decision to retire was the hardest she has ever had to make, but she felt it was time.
"I'm going to miss my friends, my coworkers, and most of all, the customers," Carrizales said. "I'm going to miss them all."
Carrizales said it is time for her to go and enjoy a new phase in her life. Friday, Aug. 23, will be her last day on the job.
