A pregnant woman accused of running over her common-law husband last week made her first court appearance Thursday.Dena Gomez, 21, was in the 391st district court to see if she could get her bond reduced. She has been accused of murder.It was last Friday when police say Gomez ran over her common-law husband, 24-year old Alfredo Ayala, outside of a Leopard Street bar. Gomez is currently pregnant with the couples second child.Gomez' bond was for $1 million, but on Thursday, relatives of the victim spoke in front of the judge asking for the bond to be lowered."It is unusual that the families of both sides of the family want the bond reduced, and I've spent years in the district court," District Court Judge Jack Hunter said.Hunter lowered the bond to $75,000. No trial date has been set.
