CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Kiii-TV is proud to be a part of the 10th annual Conquer the Coast cycling event on Saturday, Sept. 21, starting and ending at Whataburger Field.

Join hundreds of cyclists from around the country, from beginners to seasoned cyclists, in a 65 mile tour leading cyclists over the 138 foot high Harbor Bridge to Portland, Ingleside, Aransas Pass and Port Aransas, where riders may have a chance encounter with a dolphin or two while riding the ferry.

The route continues through Mustang Island and then to scenic views of Ocean Drive and the Corpus Christi Bay.

The family friendly 10-mile and 25-mile rides are just as captivating and rewarding, with riders taking off at Whataburger Field and riding toward Shoreline Drive down Ocean Drive and then back to Whataburger Field.

Proceeds generated by the 10th annual Conquer the Coast benefit the Corpus Christi Chamber Foundation and the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Islander Athletic Fund.
