Local Firefighter Starts New Clothing Line in Hopes of Inspiring Others to "Fight Hard"
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
A local firefighter is hoping to inspire others to live their dreams by starting a brand of clothing called, "Fight Hard."
He now needs your vote to spread that message nationwide.
Kent Rodriguez told 3 News,"I started out with one shirt. I sold them to friends and people at the gym and I ordered more shirts and business is growing. Its been three years now." Kent who has been a local firefighter for 9 years, is now pursuing a different dream, his own clothing line and he hopes to win a contest to catch the eye of Wal-Mart. If he gets enough votes, he could see his clothing line on the store's shelves. He says he was inspired by his mother.
Kent said, "my mom she had breast cancer. Unfortunately it did take her life but she did fight hard. It was a motivating factor."
