Man Accused of Shooting Wife Receives Bond Conditions in Court
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
A man accused of shooting his wife in the throat, leaving her in critical condition, went before a magistrate judge Thursday morning to receive conditions of his bond.
As part of those conditions, 41-year old Adam Bautista will have to wear an ankle bracelet at all times.
It was just before 2 a.m. Tuesday on the 2700 block of Mary Street when police say Bautista got into an argument with his wife and pulled a gun on her, shooting her in the neck and stomach. Despite her injuries, however, his wife is expected to make a full recovery.
Bautista was charged with aggravated assault. His bond has been set at $50,000.
