U.S. Army Purple Heart Recipient Returns Home to Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

One of our brave men in uniform was welcomed home on Monday at the Corpus Christi International Airport.

Brandon Anderson is a combat engineer specialist in the U.S. Army. He is also the recipient of a Purple Heart after he was involved an explosion while serving in Afghanistan.

"It's a mixed feeling because it's a prestigious award, but I went through hell to get it," Anderson said.
