Town Hall Meeting to Discuss Just When to Call the Police

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A town hall meeting was held Thursday night as Corpus Christi Police Chief Floyd Simpson tried to address to the community just when you should call the police.

Simpson said that tight budgets and limited manpower have changed the answer to that question, and that there are some things that his officers simply cannot respond to.

Residents will be attending the meeting in the City Council chambers to talk with Chief Simpson about what things they can call police to help with.

Kiii News Reporter Brian Burns went Live at City Hall with a preview of that town hall meeting.
