The Food Bank of Corpus Christi is Brightened Up with Paint
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
The Food Bank of Corpus Christi got a much needed face-lift Saturday. Employees with the Starbucks in Portland along with Lowes Home Improvement spent the day giving the facility on Krill street a fresh coat of paint. The employees volunteered at the warehouse about a month ago and saw a need to brighten up the work environment, so they came back and this time, with a lot of paint. The updates were made possible through a $1200 dollar grant by Lowes which supplied all of the tools. Volunteers also installed a brand new kitchen sink in the break room at the Food Bank.
