Cocaine Found After Police Pull Over Suspects in Vehicle
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Police credited some undercover surveillance for leading them to a significant cocaine bust at the intersection of Schanen and Killarmet Wednesday evening.
It was around 6:30 p.m. when officers believed they had seen enough evidence to pull over a vehicle at that intersection. Inside, they found five suspects and a significant stash of cocaine.
"We have not determined yet who is going to be charged with it. I mean, we have five people in the vehicle that we stopped, and so we're still sorting everything out to make our determination," said Captain David Cook of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "So the investigation is ongoing and it will continue to be ongoing, because there are some other leads we need to follow in regards to this case."
Whoever does get charged will be facing a charge of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.
