Posted: Updated:

A convenience store clerk was arrested overnight after police say he beat a customer with a club after a dispute at the drive-thru window.

According to police, the incident happened just before midnight Monday at a store on the 4200 block of Carroll Lane. The 25-year old victim walked up to the drive-thru window and asked for change. That's when an argument erupted, and the clerk pulled out a wooden club, striking the victim several times.

After reviewing security video, police arrested the clerk, 29-year old Nicolas Trevino, for aggravated assault.
