CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Police were called out to a home on the 3200 block of Archdale Drive just after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday after a woman reported someone firing a gun at her home.

Gloria Jordan told police that someone shot a gun in front of her home, and minutes later, tried to get through the iron gate that protects the entrance to her front door. She said Wednesday's incident continues a strange series of events which began this past weekend.

"Yesterday, I had to call the cops because I got a threatening note in my car saying they're going to kill me and my boyfriend, and then the uncle comes up and says, 'When I find you, you're going to get dealt with,'" Jordan said. "So the threats and everything have got to stop, because I should be able to come home and not have any worries."

Police never located a bullet hole nor any shell casings from the alleged shooting. They are still investigating the incident.
