CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Kiii-TV is proud to be a part of the Doc McGregor Gala, a Roaring 20s event with music, food, "hooch," dancing and fun. It will be held at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, Friday, Sept. 27.

It's a really cool 1920s "speakeasy" event to celebrate the opening of the McGregor Gallery, with a small peek at the treasure trove of Doc McGregor photography taken over a 40-year span. Come and check out the newly renovated theater, complete with custom seats from Italy, while viewing a documentary on McGregor's life and work.

Plus, browse the brand new kiosks, which will feature thousands of McGregor images. You can even select pictures, print them on-site and take home a piece of history.

The event will go on from 7-10 p.m., with a private viewing for VIPs beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $75, and the recommended attire is "guys in suits and dolls in glam," Roaring 20s style.

With surprises throughout the night, this is sure to be an event you won't want to miss. For tickets or more information, call 361-826-4667, or visit their website at www.ccmuseum.com/mcgregorgala.
