City Secretary Armando Chapa to Retire After 35 Years of Service
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
A longtime presence at City Hall, City Secretary Armando Chapa, received verbal praise from council members Tuesday as he retires after 35 years of service to the City.
"I've been blessed with a wonderful career. It's been great," Chapa said. "It's given me an opportunity to interact with a lot of different folks, a lot of different organizations. I want to thank this council, past councils, for allowing me to serve in this capacity."
State Representative Todd Hunter also praised Chapa and read statements of recognition from other state officials.
Chapa will not officially leave office until the end of the year, but we at Kiii-TV want to wish him the best.
