City Council Recognizes HELP Hits the High Notes Program
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
At Tuesday's City Council meeting, council members recognized a program known as "HELP Hits the High Notes," or the Hammons Education Leadership Program.
For the past five years, HELP has created opportunities for students to discover career possibilities. They've established Careers of the Future clubs in seven schools in the Corpus Christi Independent School District, where touch screen computers with videos from jobsite visits are installed.
Guest speakers from high paying and in-demand technical careers are arranged to speak at each school, as well.
