Local Motorcyclist Remembered After Fatal Accident in San Antonio
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Friends and family of a 47-year old motorcyclist who died in an accident in San Antonio paid their respects Tuesday as his body was returned to Corpus Christi.
Steve Jacinto was on his way home from a Wounded Warrior Project rally when the accident occurred. His body was brought back to the Trevino Funeral Home in Corpus Christi Tuesday afternoon, were Patriot Guard Riders awaited.
Jacinto's family said he was a member of the Leathernecks Motorcycle Club, and he loved working with his hands. He was also a U.S. Marine, and always had a smile.
"Whoever met my brother, like my mom, everyone loved him," said Joe Jacinto, his brother. "All around good guy. Wasn't afraid to talk to you. Wasn't afraid to try new things. That's what got him into this bike club."
Jacinto will be buried at the Veterans Cemetery with full military honors on Thursday.
