U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Takes Part In Hurricane Exercise on Corpus Christi Bay

Whenever there is a disaster, members of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary are ready to respond at any moment.
Saturday, 3 News was invited to take part in this hurricane exercise. They were calling it Hurricane Henry. Coast Guard Members went out on Corpus Christi Bay to respond to at least a dozen different scenarios. They saw calls ranging from rescues to helping people in need of food and water.
Lou Manganiello, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, says,"The conditions are not optimal, 15-20 knot winds, seas 2-3 foot seas, our boat is rocking around as you can tell."
The exercise included Port Police as well as the Coast Guard Helicopter.
