Driver Who Hit Motorcyclists in August Arrested in New Mexico
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
A 40-year-old man wanted for a hit and run accident in the Coastal Bend that injured two motorcyclists has been arrested in New Mexico.
"Detectives started pushing a little further and found that the vehicle had some history in New Mexico and up in Northern California," said Commander John Houston. "Over the next couple of weeks, we were able to find the actual address in California where it came from and actually talked to someone who sold the car five years ago and who they sold it to."
Commander John Houston says Charles Bradley left his Jeep at the scene of the accident back in early August. The crash happened at Ayers and Arlington. The riders involved have since recovered. Bradley faces charges of hit and run, injury with a motor vehicle and running from police.
