ARANSAS PASS (Kiii News) -

Aransas Pass police have released a sketch of a suspect who they say brutally attacked and raped a woman back on Oct. 2.

Police said a woman was walking along the 900 block of Commercial in Aransas Pass near the Shamrock Trailer Park around midnight when the suspect began walking next to her, trying to talk to her. A few minutes later, the suspect hit the woman in the back of the head and then dragged her to a dark area with some tall grass.

That's where the victim says she was raped while he continued to beat her.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male wearing a white shirt and khaki pants. He had a grim reaper tattoo on the right side of his chest and a scar below his neck.

The victim told police he has short black hair and spoke with a Spanish accent.

If you recognize the suspect or have any information regarding the crime, please call the Aransas Pass Police Department at 361-758-5224.
