Trial Begins for Bishop Man Accused of Shooting, Killing Two Men
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Testimony got underway Tuesday in the capital murder trial of 24-year old Noe Salinas, the Bishop man accused of killing Juan Casso and Mario Briones in August.
Salinas has pleaded not guilty. Investigators say the crime stemmed from a confrontation between Casso and Salinas at his home in Bishop, after Salinas disciplined Casso's child.
The defense painted a picture of self defense, saying Salinas was fearing for his life when three men showed up at his house. Salinas is accused of pulling out a 9mm GLOCK and firing several shots at the men.
