ROBSTOWN (Kiii News) -

The City-County Health Department has announced the next drive-thru clinic for flu shots will take place Oct. 25 at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds parking lot in Robstown.

The event will be held from 7-11 a.m. On a first come first serve basis, the first 50 doses of the flu vaccine will be given out for free. After that, each vaccination will cost $30, though they say Medicare, Medicaid and Humana Health plans will be accepted.

If you plan on taking advantage of this opportunity, organizers say you should wear short sleeves.

For more information on the flu drive, call the Nueces County Public Health District at 361-826-7238.
