Toys for Tots Campaign Kicks Off at Kingsville's Stop-N-Lube

KINGSVILLE (Kiii News) -

Christmas is only two months away, and with that in mind, a Toys for Tots campaign kicked off Thursday in Kingsville.

Once again, folks in Kingsville and the Kleberg County area are encouraged to make toy and monetary donations at the Stop-N-Lube, located on the 900 block of East King Street in Kingsville.

Organizers say they need to get an early start on toy collections.

"It's just very heart warming to meet these families and realize that, if it wasn't for programs for this, their children will go without and not have a Christmas," Stop-N-Lube's Lisa Bockholt said.

To help jump start this year's Toys for Tots program, the Kleberg County Sheriff's Office and the McFall Memorial Chapels Religious Ministries made check donations to the campaign.

Kiii-TV is pleased to be a sponsor of the Kingsville Toys for Tots program.
